Lamps for Christmas

Hi friends,

Oops!!!! I am very sorry for not available since long time. Actually I was stuck up with festivals and then my Router was broken down. It is only few minutes ago my modem/router got fixed.

Well, I would like to share one thing here is that my organisation carries out CSR activities every month and I have learnt this skill in one of the volunteering programme.

I have made Paper Lamps available for you. I wanted the pattern to be shared along with this post but unfortunately it is possible only after sometimes.

Trapped In Craft Challenge-1 with Colleen

Its very tough for me to enter into the challenge everytime. I have 4yr old son who always wants to do whatever I do. So actually I have to give him the same stuff that I am using.

Well before he interrupts me I am sharing card made for Trapped In Craft Challenge-1. Interesting theme. Black and white is such a beautiful combination.

I have used the following material:
Martha Stewart All around punch and boarder punch combined together.
Black Satin Ribbon for flower.
White Cloth Lace
Silver Net
Sentiments on Tag
Aluminium Eyelet
Thread to tie the tag

This card was made for some challange and unfortunately i was late submitting. I am feeling very sorry for myself. But anyways thats life..you really have to be that  fasr. Any ways I still would like to share with you all.

Well i have used hand made paper, Distress Ink, fabric lace and leaf. I have used band aid in the ovel.

 Actually the folding technique I have learnt from youtube. There are many such beautiful presentation on card making. I thank all for such wonderful presentation.

Quilling in PhotoFrame

Hi There,

Its Sunday today and a very lazy day ofcourse due to weather. I wanted to share with you a photo frame I completed day before yesterday. I am very passionate about recycled art. Check the snap.

 

This is the photo frame made out of used flat file, rolled paper between 2 board and ofcourse quilling to decorate the frame. Quilling is such a wonderful art I realised after seeing this frame. This is my first quilling and seems not that bad.

Challange #39 Wired Up!

I think I am getting too much of interest in Card Making. There are so many beautiful creations, just unbelievable.

There is one more card I made it for The Paper Girls Challange Blog. The layouts are so beautiful and the wire used in such a beautiful manner. I could not just imagine it to be so beautiful. Please do participate soon as the time is running out.

I dont know how perfect my creation is but i tried to do something out of this. Hope you will like it.

I made a Cupboard and inside that a frock is hanging in a wired hanger with brad on it.

Making this card was bit difficult for me as per the theme it seems very easy but creating is something tough. You really have to create something different. Nothing much is used.

Lulupu Challenge #15 - Weather or not..

The Inspiration is just enough to create something out of that. I loved the layout and theme and was very enthuse to create something out of this. It took a while for me to create something like this as i am not too old for card making. There are so many beautiful creations by all participants, hope one day I will also be in the same category. 

I have started putting all craft items into my craft bank..This is just one of the most creative and beautiful job that I recently development. 

I appreciate for all the Challengers and Challenge.

Weaving

Hey have you ever tried weaving. You believe me it is a real tough job. I really worked on this basket for 3 hours manipulating with the paper roll. The final output is not that bad.

Handmade Paper bags

There was a gap in my post as I was travelling. I missed you a lot and back with some eco-friendly paper-bags.

There are so many things that you can do it from paper. Instead of throwing away the papers that is not required you can recycle them by bringing-in creativity.

I have used handmade paper and embellishment made from form. Hope you would like it.

Wall Hanging from Jute

Great to see you again.

Here is a beautiful piece of art made from Jute. Coloring the centre part made more attractive. Actually I could'nt get the colored jute so have to use spray color on it.

Thermocol art - Photoframe

This is a beautiful piece of work from thermocol. This is actually assembled and colored, readly available in the market. The problem with thermocol is it is very difficult to carry as it is very delicate and can break easily. But then it looks beautiful.

My son actually broke all the grasses , and i really had to sit and fixed them up.

Now that I started liking paper mache art, i have tried to make a beautiful piece of bowl. There are so many creations on this subject it is just unimaginable.

Ice-cream Stick Art

 

This Ice cream stick art is very famous and I have seen very beautiful pieces of work. I thought of making one for Bird. You can also use it as candy storage or use it in keeping accesseries.

Paper Mache Ver1.2 - Tutorial

After my first mache bird, I was so impressed that i thought of making another one and I named it as bumble bee.

Actually I tried to show the process/ tutorial here to give you an idea of making paper mache. It is as simple as any other craft but the main drawback according to me is it takes time to get mache dried. It takes minimum of 2days to dry so the process is time consuming.

Content:
Tissue Paper / News paper (1 toilet roll or as per your requirement how fat you want to make)
Thick paper / Card board for Shape
Ceramic Powder - 1/2kg
Adhersive Glue ( I have used Fevicol)
Colors to paint

Soak tissue paper overnight. Drain all water properly. I took small bucket and added ceramic power and adhersive glue and mix it thoroughly until it becomes dough. You can also use blender to mix it well.

Take the shape, I have bumble bee shape board and start applying on it until full bee if formed. Keep it for drying for 2days. After it dries use vibrant colors and paint as you love to.

My final bee is ready!

Purse from Cod

This is the purse made from Cod.This purse was made 2years back and somehow i manage to find this out to share with you all. I had then started another one but anyhow could'nt complete it. Hope I should complete soon to share with you.

Gift Box made from Flat File

I have come up with one more craft. This is the gift box made from throw away flat files. I have collected few waste file and thought of using it in some way or the other. One side of the file is enough for one box. Used some decorative material and painted Warli art.

I am so exited sharing with you all my creations. I have made a little bird mache . This is also something that interested me. The shapes are not very perfect, I think next time i would require blender to crush the dough properly. Anyways next time.
